UAMS Coronavirus Resource Guide

UAMS Coronavirus Resource Guide

The Education & Research Services team at UAMS (University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences) has put together a resource guide with information about Coronavirus Disease 19 (2019-nCoV). The pages provide authoritative, up-to-date information for clinicians, laboratories, researchers and the public.

Included in the resource guide is the Coronavirus COVID-19 Global Cases by Johns Hopkins CSSE, an interactive web-based dashboard hosted by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University, to visualize and track reported cases of 2019-nCoV in real-time. The dashboard reports cases at the province level in China, city level in the US, Australia and Canada, and at the country level otherwise.

The Arkansas Department of Health also offers a 2019 Novel Coronavirus Information page. This page provides Arkansas Department of Health guidance, directives, and resources related to Coronavirus COVID-19.  In addition, it shows the latest status updates including Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 by County

The Internet is a valuable source of information, however caution must be taken to assure the information is correct. Just because it’s on the internet, doesn’t make it true!  Anyone can create a website and put information on the Internet whether it’s factual or not.  Libraries and library staff are a great source for helping you find factual, accurate, and authoritative information on topics that are important to you.  We hope that you find this information on Coronavirus helpful to you.
