Program Description Program Description The original photography of Jim Barber will be on display at Dewey’s Cafe at the Main Library during the months of September and October. Jim Barber, along with his family, moved to Fort Smith from Texas in 1996. Educated at Kansas State University in the field of geology, he has worked in the petroleum industry for the last 41 years. His interest in photography was sparked while chasing his children around with a camera and has continually grown each year and is now his favorite pastime. Much of his work has been focused on the Ozarks here in the Natural State, but his interest of late is photographing the Milky Way. His images are available in various sizes and mediums, such as classic matted prints, stretched canvas, or metal prints. He currently has over 1000 photographs displayed on his website…JamesBarberFineArt.com. Artwork is available for viewing all hours the library is open.
