Eclipse Info and Glasses Giveaway - Miller Branch

Are you excited about the April 8 Solar eclipse?  Stop by the Miller Branch Library information table to find out more about the eclipse, how to view it safely, and get eclipse glasses for you and your family (limit four per household while supplies last).  Information events will also be held on Friday, March 1, from 9 AM - 12 PM at the Main Library, Tuesday, March 5, from 1 – 3 PM at the Windsor Drive Branch Library, and Friday, March 8, from 1 - 3 PM at the Dallas Street Branch Library.  Glasses will also be available at all FSPL locations during all open hours, limit 4 per household, while supplies last.  These eclipse shades are safe for direct solar viewing and meets the requirement for ISO 12312-2:2015. Thanks to the Arkansas State Library and the Institute of Museum and Library Services for providing eclipse glasses to the Fort Smith community, and the rest of the state!
