Program Description

Fort Smith author Rachel Rotert will make a special appearance to promote and sign copies of her new book, God’s Great Love. If you’ve never read the entire Bible, you’re not alone. The sheer length and complexity of this text tends to intimidate many readers who would like to know more about it. God’s Great Love Story walks through each of the sixty-six books that make up the Bible, simplifying each chapter and re-writing it using contemporary, conversational language. These thirty-five daily readings seek to remove the barriers and help you understand the Bible as the simple, beautiful love story that it is. Copies of God’s Great Love will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.

Rachel Rotert is a wife, mom, writer, graduate student, and Board Certified Music Therapist living in Fort Smith, Arkansas. For over a decade, Rachel has worked primarily with child and teen survivors of trauma. She seeks to offer joy, hope, and healing to her clients through music, while offering grace and patience to her two adorable, mischievous sons at home. She falls short more often than not, but whenever she is able to offer something good to others, it’s only because of the grace, guidance, and perspective that comes from her relationship with God.
