Local author Elijah R. Owens will make a special appearance to promote and sign copies of his book Feeling Blue: The American Republic. The book is a reflective, thoughtful analysis on the psychological state of America. It provides an insightful perspective with potent themes of enlightenment, empowerment, and self-actualization. An essential page-turner that encourages readers everywhere to change from the inside out for the betterment of themselves and the American Republic as a whole. Elijah R. Owens is an author, an honor student, and a sophomore attending Southside High School in Fort Smith, AR. He is a member of the Future Medical Professionals of America (FMPA) and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Elijah enjoys reflective writing, watching movies, reading and traveling to new places. Copies of his book will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.
