Black History: Reclaiming Our Roots with Rooted Movement Collective

Celebrate Black History Month at the Fort Smith Public Library by attending Reclaiming Your Roots, an interactive show performed by Rooted Movement Collective that every age can enjoy.  Rooted Movement Collective is a touring dance group dedicated to educating and spreading the radical joy of African American dance forms, culture and history. Supported by the Walton Arts Center, the group travels to schools and organizations across Arkansas. Support for Rooted Collective Movement is provided, in part, by the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
