Miller Branch Library Artist of the Month – Angela Strozier

Angela Strozier will be the Miller Branch artist in July.  After 30 years as a master barber, Angela retired and returned to college. In 2017, she graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern State University with a BA in Cherokee Cultural Studies/Language Revitalization and a minor in 2D Studio Art. Contemporary designs are the main focus of her paintings, however, she enjoys all styles of painting and uses a variety of mediums. In addition to painting, she is a Native beadwork artist, basket weaver, and gourd carver. Artwork is available for viewing all hours that the library is open.
