Program Description

Each January, authors and illustrators anxiously await the announcement of the new Caldecott award-winning books.  This important award is given to the illustrator of a picture book.  A committee of book-loving people chose one book that is given the gold medal.  Several other books are given the silver medal, or the Caldecott Honor.  Join Ms. Robin on the library's Facebook page or YouTube Channel as she reads one of the books that have earned the gold or silver Caldecott Medal for its' illustrations.  To find out more about the Caldecott Award, click here.  You might even find the book that won in the year that you were born!
