Authors in the Afternoon with Tabitha Embree and Jessica Meredith

Local authors Jessica Meredith and Tabitha Embree will make a special appearance to promote and sign copies of their children’s books, Scooter Steals the Ball and The Lost Dragon. Written under the pen name TJ Trumar, The Lost Dragon is a part of the Truett’s Dreamtime Adventures series, while Scooter Steals the Ball visits the opening day of baseball season and a mischievous who causes chaos.  Copies of these picture books, as well as new release Little Racer will be available for sale and signing at the event. 

Jessica Meredith is a lifelong resident of Lavaca, where she resides with her husband, Chris. She has worked for BancorpSouth since 2004. Writing has been her hobby and passion since she was five years old.  Tabitha Embree’s favorite thing to do is family movie night. This is where everyone piles into the living room to watch a movie, eat popcorn, chocolate chips, and marshmallows. Tabitha’s family is her writing inspiration.
