Authors in the Afternoon with Sue Frizzell

Fort Smith author Sue Frizzell will appear at the Main Library to promote and sign copies her book of poetry, On the Necessity of Love and Beauty, a carefully selected collection of poetry gathered over the course of 60 years and deals with a full range of subjects, including love, beauty, and Nature. The style is perhaps best described as “American traditional/romantic,” similar to that of Frost and Dickinson. Sue Ann Hamiter Frizzell is a lifelong poet and also an independent language scholar and literary translator from the German. She lives in Fort Smith, along with her husband, Robert W. (Bob) Frizzell. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.
