Authors in the Afternoon with Robert Parson

Long-time Fort Smith resident and award-winning broadcast journalist Robert Parson will make a special appearance to promote and sign copies of his new book, Greater Than a Tourist: Fort Smith.   What may be the first tourism guide for Fort Smith, the book highlights the National Historic Site, area museums, annual events, and other notable places and items in the region.  “The history of the American West cannot be written without Fort Smith,” he writes in the introduction. Copies of Greater Than a Tourist: Fort Smith will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.
