Local author Linda Laughlin will appear at the Fort Smith Public Library to promote and sign copies of her book How The Wise Old Owl Got His NamePart one in the “Lessons with Wise Old Owl” series, this book for young people includes beautiful illustrations created by oil landscape painter Sandra Diafazio, and a glossary of phonetics and definitions for key words.  The book will encourage readers to embrace self-acceptance and explore the world around them.  Born and raised in Oklahoma, Linda has spent her adult life in Fort Smith.  In addition to having published to romance suspense novels, Linda has written a bi-weekly column on regional authors for the Times Record Newspaper. Copies of How The Wise Old Owl Got His Name will be available for sale and signing at this open-house style event.
