Program Description

Omu is cooking a delicious red stew in a big fat pot for a nice evening meal. It smells so good that soon neighbors are knocking on her door, and Omu shares what she has made. But what will she do when the stew is gone? Visit the library's Facebook page or YouTube Channel to listen and find out as Matia reads this heartwarming story written and illustrated by Oge Mora and published by Little, Brown and Company. This book earned a 2019 Caldecott Honor Award, and the author was awarded the Coretta Scott King John Steptoe New Talent Award.
