    Fedstats - Provides access to statistical information for over 70 government agencies.

    FirstGov.gov-This site is the World Wide Web information portal for the U.S. government. It provides information on federal, state, and local government. Includes a feedback section where you can search for contact information for various federal agencies.

    Food Safety -- Gateway to government Food Safety Information. Includes sections to report illness & product complaints, read news and food safety alerts, learn about foodborne pathogens, and link to other food safety-related sites. Also includes a section for kids and educators.

    Government Printing Office - Provides access to and information about many government publications.

    THOMAS -- U.S. Congress on the Internet

    U.S. Bluepages-- This online resource is a functional organization of contacts within the federal government. Its structure mimics the blue pages in telephone directories, but in addition to phone numbers, TTY numbers and Web sites are also listed. There is also a database that allows the information to be filtered for local contacts only.

    U.S. Consumer Gateway This government site provides links to several federal agencies, and includes information about consumer products that may have safety problems. Very informative.

    The Fort Smith Public Library is a partial depository for Arkansas state documents. We receive national Census information as well. The closest repository for U.S. Government Documents is Mullins Library at the University of Arkansas -- Fayetteville.
