So, WHAT is Freegal? Freegal (which stands for "free" + "legal") is a downloadable music service that works with your FSPL library card. Freegal offers hundreds of thousands of songs from over 100 genres of music and many record labels from the Sony Music Entertainment catalog -- all without any digital rights management (DRM) issues to deal with or any special software required! (If you prefer, however, you may download the Freegal App for your iPhone/iPod/iPad devices or Android phone.)
You are limited to 3 songs per week -- Freegal's download week begins at 11:00p.m. on Sunday night when your downloads available counter is reset.
Access to Freegal from this website is limited to Fort Smith Public Library cardholders with accounts in good standing (current address with fines under $2.00 and no overdue materials).

The mission of the Fort Smith Public Library Endowment Trust is to promote and maintain the stability and the future growth of the Fort Smith Public Library through the receipt, administration, and distribution of Trust funds to the Library. Gifts to the Trust may be used to enhance the Library’s acquisitions and to fund special projects that are beyond the capacity of the Library’s normal operating budget.
